The Career Closet
The Clark Community Thrift Store and Career Connections Center have partnered to create a space in the Thrift Store of clothing including shirts, pants, dresses, and other professional attire for free. This professional attire is meant to help students attending job interviews and working in professional settings to both look and feel the part. About the Clark Thrift Store
The Clark University Community Thrift Store is a hub of creativity and sustainability on campus. This Worcester thrift store sells affordable, gently-used clothing, and jewelry. The Thrift Store student staff takes great pride in curating current fashion trends and the latest styles for a perfect outfit at a low price. The Thrift Store is also home to the Creative Co-Op, a retail space for student-run businesses. The thrift store is fully student-run, giving entrepreneurial job opportunities in marketing, sales, inventory management, finance, and other business skills to Clark students. The Clark University Community Thrift Store is open to both Clarkies and the Worcester community. We accept donations of clothing and small housewares. We are unable to accept bedding or large individual items. We also provide donation bins in the Clark University dorms.
Our Mission
The Clark University Thrift Store is 100% student-run with a mission to provide affordable and fashionable shopping options for the Clark University student community and the wider Worcester area. The store aims to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of consumerism by giving a new life to items that would otherwise end up in landfills. By promoting second-hand shopping and encouraging the reuse of items, the thrift store promotes a more sustainable way of living.
